FIFA compares Fenerbahçe's new signing to Neymar

Fenerbahçe has made an ambitious move for the summer transfer window, adding 23-year-old Malian winger Dorgeles Nene to its squad.

For the 23-year-old winger, who arrived at Atatürk Airport during the transfer operation conducted in recent days, the yellow-navy blues will pay Salzburg a transfer fee of 18 million Euros plus 4 million Euros in performance-based bonuses. The Austrian club will also receive a share from any future sale.

Dorgeles Nene, the first Malian footballer in Fenerbahçe's history, is being compared to Neymar due to his style. In a special analysis conducted on FIFA's official website ahead of the Club World Cup, the headline "The Malian Neymar" was used for the 23-year-old player. Nene, who appeared in 49 matches last season, drew attention with 15 goals and 9 assists.

Nene, whose primary position is left wing, also performs successfully on the right wing. The Malian star, who can also take on center-forward and second-striker roles, displayed a performance of 10 goals and 4 assists in 23 matches played on the right wing last season, and 4 goals and 5 assists in 13 matches played on the left wing, while he did not produce any goals in the 4 matches he played as a center-forward.
