FIFA has announced the list of officials for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The FIFA Referees Committee stated that it has appointed 89 match officials from 45 countries to the Olympic Games.
It was announced that those appointed include 21 referees, 42 assistant referees, 20 VAR officials, and 6 support referees.
NO TURKISH REFEREES
No referees from Turkey were appointed in the announced list.
The women's competition at the Olympics will begin on July 25, 2024, and will conclude with the gold medal match at the Parc des Princes in Paris on August 10, 2024.
The men's competition will begin on July 24, 2024, and the gold medal match will be held again at the Parc des Princes on August 9, 2024.
Furthermore, it was stated that VAR, semi-automated offside technology, and goal-line technology will be used in the tournament.
