FIFA imposes transfer ban on Süper Lig team

FIFA has imposed a transfer ban on Atakaş Hatayspor, one of the Süper Lig teams.

According to the statement on FIFA's website, Hatayspor has been given a 2-window transfer ban due to outstanding debts.

If Hatayspor does not pay its debts, it will be unable to add new players to its squad until the 2026 winter transfer window. 

GOING THROUGH A DIFFICULT PERIOD IN THE LEAGUE 

Hatayspor, one of the Süper Lig teams, has collected only 9 points in the 18 matches it has played in the league and is currently in 18th place.
