Ivorian footballer Nicolas Pepe has left Trabzonspor following the conclusion of the season.
Pepe announced his departure from the team in a statement on social media. The Ivorian footballer stated, "Thank you all for your support. Many thanks to Trabzonspor for their trust, to the president and vice president who brought me here, to the technical staff, and to my teammates.
We achieved a good third-place finish and played in a cup final that I regret very much. Thanks also to the fans; I have seen very few fans as passionate as you. Thank you for your warm welcome. I am leaving now to join the national team, and a new adventure awaits me," he said.
