First statement from Sadettin Saran regarding the betting scandal

Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran addressed the statements made by TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu regarding the betting scandal during a school visit he conducted before the away match in Gaziantep.

Saran stated, "The statements made today pleased me. It was important for us that this issue be pursued and brought to light. As Fenerbahçe, we have frequently voiced this situation, and it is gratifying that our position has been vindicated. It is a sad and shocking situation for Turkish football, but it is promising that this incident has come to light. I congratulate Mr. Hacıosmanoğlu and his federation, and I believe they will follow this matter through to the end. We will deal with this issue when we return to Istanbul."
