Flash decision regarding 3 Fenerbahçe figures after the eventful derby!

In the 37th week of the Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe defeated Galatasaray 1-0 away from home.

The incidents that took place after the match dominated the agenda.

While Fenerbahçe was celebrating on the pitch, a scuffle broke out between Galatasaray General Secretary Eray Yazgan, Stadium Manager Ali Çelikkıran, and President Dursun Özbek’s driver, and Fenerbahçe executives. An investigation into the events of the derby has been launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

FENERBAHÇE FIGURES ARRIVE TO GIVE STATEMENTS

As part of the investigation, Fenerbahçe Club Doctor Ertuğrul Karanlık, former Fenerbahçe board member Hulusi Belgü, and Fenerbahçe Head Coach İsmail Kartal’s son, Emre Kartal, were summoned to the Istanbul Courthouse to give statements. Hulusi Belgü, Ertuğrul Karanlık, and Emre Kartal, who were summoned to testify, arrived at the Çağlayan Courthouse Press Crimes Investigation Bureau. The suspects will provide their statements to the press prosecutor.

TRAVEL BAN IMPOSED

The suspects, whose procedures at the Press Crimes Investigation Bureau lasted approximately 4 hours, were referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for judicial control.

To prevent members of the press from taking footage, the suspects were taken to the criminal judgeship of peace via the fire escape, accompanied by the courthouse's private security guards. During this time, the fire alarm at the courthouse began to sound.

Following the completion of their procedures at the Istanbul Criminal Judgeship of Peace, judicial control measures were imposed on Karanlık, Belgü, and Kartal, consisting of a travel ban and the requirement to sign in at a police station twice a month.
