Flash statement from Luciano Spalletti on Nicolo Zaniolo! 'He must change his habits!'

Italy national team head coach Luciano Spalletti spoke about Nicolo Zaniolo, who plays for Aston Villa.

Spalletti said that Zaniolo needs to change some of his habits.

"Zaniolo is a strong person. When I call him, he is alone at home and needs affection," the Italian coach said, adding, "He has some habits that are not right; having the right daily habits gives you more strength in your work. That is what I tell him."

Regarding the 24-year-old footballer, Spalletti also stated, "He was a bit careless while tracking back against North Macedonia and we conceded a goal, but he continues to be a strong player."

Nicolo Zaniolo has appeared in 17 matches for Italy, scoring two goals in those encounters.

The 24-year-old footballer, who was loaned to Aston Villa from Galatasaray during the summer transfer window with an option to buy, has not yet contributed a goal in the 16 matches he has played.
