Galatasaray is looking to sign Mame Thiam, who is a strong contender in the Süper Lig top scorer race.

It is claimed that Kayserispor center-forward Mame Thiam, who sits just behind Dzeko and Icardi in the top scorer race, is on Galatasaray's transfer agenda. It is reported that the yellow-red club is showing interest in Thiam, who is having one of the best periods of his career with Kayserispor this season.

Mame Thiam has found the net 11 times, placing him just behind Dzeko and Icardi, who share the lead in the Süper Lig top scorer race with 12 goals each.

According to a report by Sabah Gazetesi, the Galatasaray management plans to make an offer during the mid-season break for the Senegalese striker, whose contract expires at the end of the season.

The 31-year-old experienced footballer performed with 8 goals and 4 assists in 34 matches while playing for Fenerbahçe in the 2019-2020 season. At Kayserispor, he has become one of the team's key figures, appearing in 74 matches, scoring 31 goals, and providing 10 assists.

It is also noted that Mame Thiam has played for significant teams in his career, such as Inter, Juventus, PAOK, and Empoli.
