TFF 1. Lig side Sakaryaspor's new president, Gökhan İn, has announced that a world-famous name has been appointed to the head coaching position.
İn, who won the recent presidential elections and became the club's new president, announced that Michel Salgado, who played for Real Madrid for many years, has been brought in as head coach.
In a statement to Söz Sakarya, Gökhan İn said, "We have chosen Michel Salgado as our head coach. Salgado's plane tickets are ready; he will arrive on Monday."
In his career, Michel Salgado has only previously served as an interim head coach for the South Cyprus team Pafos FC.
