Continuing their pre-season preparations in Portugal, Fenerbahçe faced Benfica in a friendly match at the Estádio da Luz. The yellow-navy blues left the match with a 3-2 defeat, with Fenerbahçe's goals scored by İrfan Can Kahveci in the 45th minute and Youssef En-Nesyri in the 59th minute. The Portuguese team's goals were scored by Kerem Aktürkoğlu in the 37th minute, Brown (o.g.) in the 42nd minute, and Araujo in the 81st minute.
With this match, the yellow-navy team concluded their Portugal camp and will return to Istanbul to continue their preparations there.
