Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe's opponents in the UEFA Europa League have been determined

The opponents in the play-off round for Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, who are competing in the 36-team league format implemented for the first time this season in the UEFA Europa League, were determined today. The draw, which took place at the UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, began at 15:00 TSI.

GALATASARAY'S POTENTIAL OPPONENTS

Galatasaray, who finished the league phase in 14th place with 13 points, will face either AZ Alkmaar or Midtjylland in the play-off round. The yellow-red team, which will be seeded in the draw, will play the first leg away and the return leg in Istanbul.

If Galatasaray passes the play-off round, they will face strong opponents such as Manchester United or Tottenham in the Round of 16.

Fenerbahçe, who finished in 24th place with 10 points in the Europa League, had Bodo/Glimt and Anderlecht as potential opponents in the play-off round. The yellow-navy team will play the first leg of the tie in Kadıköy and the return leg away.

If Fenerbahçe passes the play-off stage, they will be paired with Olympiakos or Rangers in the Round of 16.

The Europa League knockout round play-off matches will be played on February 13 and 20. The Round of 16 will take place on March 6-13.
