Galatasaray announces Boey transfer: Highest transfer fee ever!

Galatasaray has announced the transfer of Sacha Boey to Bayern Munich. The 30 million euro transfer fee is the highest in the history of the Süper Lig.

Galatasaray has announced the transfer of Sacha Boey to Bayern Munich. 

The following statement was issued:

"An agreement has been reached with FC Bayern München AG for the permanent transfer of our professional football player Sacha Boey. 

According to the agreement, our transfer revenue is a net 30,000,000 euros, and FC Bayern München AG will pay our company a conditional bonus of 5,000,000 euros net.  

Furthermore, in the event that the player is transferred to another club, FC Bayern München AG will pay our company the entirety of the unrealized conditional bonuses.  

In addition to this, it has been agreed to organize two friendly matches, and FC Bayern München AG will pay our company 50% of the profit generated from these matches."

BECOMES SÜPER LİG'S MOST EXPENSIVE TRANSFER

Boey's transfer has gone down in history as the most expensive transfer in the history of the Süper Lig.

The previous highest transfer fee was for Cenk Tosun's transfer to Everton in the 2017/18 season. Tosun was transferred for 22.5 million euros.

Last season, Arda Güler transferred from Fenerbahçe to Real Madrid for a net 20 million euros.

BAYERN ANNOUNCES

Bayern Munich announced the transfer on their official social media accounts with the words, "2028, "ServusSacha".

Sacha Boey will wear the Bayern Munich jersey until 2028.
