Galatasaray announces the transfer of Eren Elmalı

Galatasaray has secured the signing of Eren Elmalı, the left-back for Trabzonspor and the Turkish National Football Team.

The yellow-red club has registered the player's license and notified the Turkish Football Federation that a contract has been signed until 2028.

The 24-year-old defender, who transferred from Kasımpaşa to Trabzonspor at the beginning of the 2022-2023 season, played for the burgundy-blue team for 2.5 years.

In the statement made by the yellow-red club, it was stated that a transfer fee of 129 million 717 thousand 700 lira will be paid to the burgundy-blue club, and there is also a conditional payment of 18 million 531 thousand 100 lira.

It was stated that 25 percent of the profit from the player's next sale will be paid to his former club, and that Eren will receive a salary of 14 million lira for the remainder of the season.

It was reported that the left-back will receive a salary of 45 million lira next year, 55 million lira in the 2026-2027 season, and 65 million lira in the 2027-2028 season.

In the agreement, which also includes a one-year option, it was noted that if the yellow-red club exercises the option in the 2028-2029 season, a payment of 75 million lira will be made to the player.
