Galatasaray announces that a fraud ring has been dismantled
Galatasaray has announced that a Mersin-based criminal network, which targeted yellow-red fans and carried out fraud amounting to thousands of Euros under the guise of selling luxury boxes and season tickets, has been dismantled thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Interior and the Mersin Provincial Police Department.

In a statement regarding the matter, the yellow-red club included the following remarks:
"As Galatasaray Sports Club, we identified the existence of a Mersin-based network that targeted our fans and carried out fraudulent activities amounting to thousands of Euros under the guise of 'luxury box and season ticket sales,' and the situation was immediately reported to the relevant authorities.
Following our report, thanks to the meticulous, rapid, and effective work of our Ministry of Interior and the Mersin Provincial Police Department, 16 individuals were taken into custody, and the criminal network in question was apprehended and dismantled in a short time.
Our club, as always, considers protecting the safety and the material and moral rights of our fans as one of its primary responsibilities. In this context, we strongly remind everyone to be cautious against similar illegal attempts and to use only the official channels of Galatasaray Sports Club when purchasing tickets, luxury boxes, or any club products.
We would like to thank our Minister of Interior, Mr. Ali Yerlikaya, for his swift action and successful operation, as well as our Police Organization, Mersin Governor Mr. Atilla Toros, the Mersin Provincial Police Department, and all the security forces who contributed, on behalf of the Galatasaray Sports Club community."
