The statement released on the yellow-red club's official website included the following remarks:

"The Turkish Football Federation has taken its biased and hostile stance against our club to a completely different level with the Disciplinary Board decision announced this evening. With a decision that has no basis, the tickets of a number of our fans, corresponding to more than half of our stadium, have been blocked for our home match against Konyaspor.

This decision is the clearest indication that the federation, which has no other duty left than to act as a partisan for one club, has completely failed.

The goal is clear; to silence and neutralize our stadium and our fans, which is the place most feared by our rivals...

We call out to those responsible for this decision: Resign before causing any more damage to Turkish sports!

And do not forget this;

You try to stop us, we become even more!

You try to silence us, we shout even louder!

No matter what dirty alliance you come against us with, good and right will prevail, Galatasaray will prevail!"
