Pınar Karşıyaka defeated Galatasaray Ekmas 88-72 in the men's ING Turkish Cup quarterfinals, advancing to the Final Four to be held in Konya. The green-and-red team will face Anadolu Efes in the semifinals on Friday, February 16.

Starting the match with a 7-0 run, Pınar Karşıyaka led 12-8 at the 5-minute mark. Extending the lead to 11 points (23-12) in the final stretch, the home team finished the period ahead 23-14.

Pınar Karşıyaka increased the lead to 14 points (28-14) with a 5-0 run at the start of the second period, leading 35-23 at the 15th minute. Despite 3-point baskets from Prepelic for the visiting team, Pınar Karşıyaka went into the locker room leading 45-37.

Starting the third period with baskets from McCollum and Vitto Brown, Pınar Karşıyaka reached a 17-point lead at the 27th minute following a basket-foul play by Kenan Sipahi: 69-52. The home team finished the period with an 18-point lead at 74-56.

Maintaining their dominance in the final period, Pınar Karşıyaka won the match 88-72. The İzmir representative secured its place among the final 4 teams in the Turkish Cup.
