An angry fan confronted Şenol with the words, "Why do you come to our matches? You hate Galatasaray, you are a Karşıyaka fan, and you are a Fenerbahçe fan. I am honestly sick of you. We don't want you, brother. Don't put yourself down for this. We hate you, we are disgusted by you. Don't come, I don't want you here."
