The statement, signed by President Dursun Özbek and Board Members Metin Öztürk, Niyazi Yelkencioğlu, Mehmet Saruhan Cibara, Eray Yazgan, İbrahim Hatipoğlu, Bora İsmail Bahçetepe, Sedat Artukoğlu, Can Natan, Ali Yüce, Fatih Süleyman Demircan, Ozan Bingöl Yurtsever, Timur Kuban, Emir Aral, Tanur Lara Yılmaz, and Ece Bora, was published on the yellow-red club's official website and included the following remarks:
"From the moment we were elected with the favor of the Galatasaray Sports Club members, we had only one goal: to fulfill this duty entrusted to us in the best possible way. At the point we have reached today, we see that the criticisms directed at our board of directors and the colleagues we work with have exceeded the limit and turned into unfair accusations and immoral slanders.
We invite the authors of these speculations, which began with the lie that there is an investigation and continued with the slander that some of our board members were summoned to testify regarding this accusation, to prove their claims as soon as possible; if they cannot prove them, we declare that we will wage the same struggle against them as we do against the enemies of Galatasaray.
We will share all the actions we have taken and will take regarding this matter with the public tomorrow.
Before that, we will play one of the most important matches of this season for us, and we will win. Until then, Concentration!"
