Galatasaray President Özbek files criminal complaint against TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek made statements to members of the press as he left the courthouse. In his statement upon leaving the courthouse, Özbek said, "A threat made against the Galatasaray president is considered a threat made against the entire community. We have filed a criminal complaint with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office today."

The statement made by Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek upon leaving the courthouse is as follows;

Dursun Özbek: "As you know, the TFF president used threatening language against me in a broadcast he participated in yesterday. A threat made against the Galatasaray president is considered a threat made against the entire community. We have filed a criminal complaint with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office today. I am confident that the Turkish justice system will do what is necessary.

I had previously expressed that I did not trust them. This is a TFF that we voted for. Their practices since being elected are practices devoid of justice.

The expressions used have disturbed the Galatasaray Sports Club and the Turkish football public.

As Galatasaray, we have demonstrated our stance. As the Galatasaray community, I have given my necessary statement on this matter to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. I am confident that they will also do what is necessary."
