Galatasaray President Özbek makes statement on Osimhen and goalkeeper transfers

Galatasaray Club President Dursun Özbek, Galatasaray Manager Okan Buruk, and numerous guests attended the event held at a restaurant in the district's Yalıkavak neighborhood.

Responding to questions from journalists during the program, Özbek said they were happy to be together with the fans who are devoted to the yellow-red colors.

Stating that they would celebrate the 25th championship and the 5th star at the event, Özbek said, "We came to Bodrum last year, and we came before that too. This place is our lucky charm. After holding the celebrations here, we will begin work on our 26th championship. Hopefully, we will be here again next year."

In response to a journalist's question about Victor Osimhen, Özbek replied, "Work is ongoing. It is a decision he will make, and we are waiting for that. Hopefully, we will continue in a good season without disrupting our squad. Our goalkeeper search is also continuing. We have 4-5 alternatives. Therefore, I will tell you when that is finished."

Expressing that they will participate directly in the Champions League this year, Özbek said, "Galatasaray's mission is to be successful in Europe. This year, we will chase the league, Europe, and the Turkish Cup. I hope we will have a successful season. As the management, my colleagues and I are doing everything we can for this. Our goal is to fill Galatasaray fans with joy, as we are doing here today. To celebrate championships with them."

Galatasaray Manager Okan Buruk also noted that he was happy to be in Bodrum.

Explaining that they were in Bodrum last year as well, Buruk said, "Galatasaray fans have a huge share in this championship. We will have a beautiful night with them and celebrate the championship. 5th star, 25th championship, the target is 26. We want to give them our word here again for the 26th championship."

Stating that season preparations will begin on July 4, Buruk said, "We will prepare for the new season in the best way possible. Our work regarding transfers is ongoing. We will carry out work on this as soon as possible."

Bodrum 1905 Galatasaray Supporters Association President Cankat Boylu also expressed his wish to be in Bodrum for the 26th championship, stating that any player who leaves Galatasaray departs the team in tears, that they have created a very beautiful family environment, and that they hope this will continue and reach even better points.
