Galatasaray responds to trending claim about Dursun Özbek

Galatasaray has issued a statement regarding a claim about President Dursun Özbek that appeared in the press.

The yellow-red club announced that the news report claiming Özbek said "I am tired of Galatasaray politics" during a meeting he attended does not reflect the truth.

Galatasaray's statement is as follows:

"The statements published in some media outlets today, attributed to Galatasaray Sports Club President Mr. Dursun Aydın Özbek, do not reflect the truth.

Our President has not made any statement such as 'I am tired of Galatasaray politics,' as alleged in the reports in question.

We kindly request the public not to give credence to statements attributed to our president that were not spoken by him."
