Attempted attack on the referee during the Bodrum FK - Samsunspor match! Executive and fans entered the pitch

In the 33rd week of the Trendyol Süper League, Bodrum FK was defeated 2-1 by Samsunspor at home. In the final minutes of the match, referee Yasin Kol's decisions were met with strong reactions from the Bodrum FK stands.

Bodrum FK executive Caner Tuna and a few fans entered the pitch to protest the referee.

Following Tuna's removal from the pitch by police and security teams, other executives also entered the field at the end of the match to protest the referees.

The referees left the pitch under heavy security measures and a police escort, while fans in the stands booed the referee for a long time.

After the match, Bodrum FK executives made scathing statements. While press spokesperson Onur Talay was making statements, vice president Selahattin Polat and executives Aşkın Demir, Caner Tuna, and İsmail Erdoğan also supported Talay.

Rebelling against the decisions made, Onur Talay said, "There is a very cliché saying; a dark day or a dark night in football, but this is a pitch-black day. I have never seen a day darker than this. Today, we look at the 8th minute and saw a penalty that perhaps has never happened in world football history. The ball rebounds from our goalkeeper and hits our player's hand. Samsunspor finds the equalizer from a non-existent penalty."

Expressing that he could not make sense of their goal being disallowed, Talay stated, "Let's look at the 76th minute. Our player coming from behind. A VAR line that could not be drawn, could not be drawn for minutes. A VAR line that is unclear where it originated from, and a disallowed goal. We go into stoppage time. You all saw what happened in stoppage time.
