A statement has been released by the club regarding the signature campaign initiated for an extraordinary congress at Fenerbahçe, where the championship drought has reached 11 years.

Following a second-place finish in the Süper Lig, which extended Fenerbahçe's championship drought to 11 years, reactions against President Ali Koç and his management continue. Fans and members of the yellow-navy club are collecting signatures to force the club to hold a new congress following the unsuccessful results.
While many claims regarding the number of signatures at Fenerbahçe have been circulating, the yellow-navy management has provided an update on the total number of signatures received by the club.
The statement issued by the Fenerbahçe Club is as follows:
Regarding the signatures collected for an Extraordinary General Assembly request in accordance with the relevant provisions of our club's bylaws, no statement has been made until today to ensure the process proceeds healthily and does not become open to manipulation.
As we have emphasized before, we view and respect every right granted to our congress members in our bylaws as one of the fundamental elements of our club's democracy. However, it should not be forgotten that, in line with Fenerbahçe's deep-rooted traditions and corporate culture, an Extraordinary General Assembly has never been held in our club's history through the collection of signatures.
However, at this point, it is clear that a perception campaign is being conducted, especially on social media platforms, aimed at misleading the public with false and slanderous claims that have no basis in reality. For this reason, in the interest of transparency and the continued healthy progress of the process, it has been decided to share detailed information with the public regarding the signature declarations submitted to our club within the framework of our laws and bylaws.
Declarations Received via Notary Mail: Declarations delivered via notary mail are received by our Legal Department. As of 04.06.2025, 151 declarations have reached the club through this method and have been recorded.
Declarations Received via the High Council Board (YDK): Declarations submitted to the High Council Board were delivered to our Legal Department by the YDK Secretariat in exchange for a signature. As of 04.06.2025, 78 declarations have been received and recorded through this method.
In light of this information, the total number of signature declarations submitted to our club to date is 229. The process will continue to be carried out meticulously and within the legal framework by our club.
