Claim that UEFA has intervened: Kerem Aktürkoğlu could face a ban of up to 12 matches!

Allegations regarding the contract of Fenerbahçe's national footballer Kerem Aktürkoğlu are growing. According to information shared by journalist Murat Özbostan, rumors of a double contract have also caught the attention of UEFA. It has been learned that the process is under investigation by both the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and international legal circles.

ALLEGATION OF TWO SEPARATE CONTRACTS

According to the claim, Fenerbahçe drew up two different contracts for Kerem Aktürkoğlu. One of these is the official contract prepared based on the minimum wage and submitted to the TFF.

The other is a second agreement, allegedly made through the company of former Fenerbahçe executive Hakan Safi, with a value of 8 million 750 thousand Euros per year. It is stated that this second contract also covers taxes and agent fees.

UEFA AND TFF HAVE TAKEN ACTION

Murat Özbostan wrote that UEFA has requested official information from the TFF following reports in the press. It was stated that the TFF has taken the file under review, while Fenerbahçe has consulted an international law firm regarding the process. According to Özbostan's claim, it is suggested that as a result of the TFF's evaluation, Kerem Aktürkoğlu could face a ban of between 4 and 12 matches.

Özbostan noted the following:

"There have been quite a lot of allegations regarding Kerem Aktürkoğlu's contract for some time. Fenerbahçe has made two contracts for the national player. One is the contract covering the minimum wage and sent to the TFF, and the other is the contract made by former F.Bahçe executive Hakan Safi, covering his company, which is 8 million 750 thousand Euros per year (including tax and agent fees)."

"Regarding the two separate contracts, UEFA has requested information from the TFF due to the reports that have emerged! While the TFF is making an evaluation on the subject, F.Bahçe has also requested an opinion from an international law firm. So what will happen? The matter is on the TFF's table. In the worst-case scenario, Kerem is facing the risk of a 4 to 12-match ban..."

ALI KOÇ'S WORDS BROUGHT TO THE AGENDA

These developments have brought back to mind the "single-type contract" call made in the past by former Fenerbahçe president Ali Koç. Koç had argued that clubs should consolidate all their financial obligations into a single agreement, emphasizing that tax evasion and the exceeding of spending limits should be prevented.

HAKAN SAFİ HAD DENIED THE ALLEGATIONS
