Messi announces he has no expectations left from football

Argentine football legend Lionel Messi made significant statements about his career during a YouTube program he attended. Messi spoke about the achievements he has attained in his career and his future plans.

Stating that most of the trophies he has won throughout his career are in Barcelona, Messi said, 'All my trophies are in Barcelona. I also have a special place for what I won with the Argentina National Team, but most of them are in Barcelona. It is really difficult to store so many trophies.'

Stating that he has no other expectations from football after winning the World Cup, Messi used the expressions, 'I couldn't win the World Cup, but I did. I won them all. I can no longer ask for anything from football.'

Saying that he will make his decision on whether to participate in the 2026 World Cup this year, Messi said, 'I will make my decision regarding the 2026 World Cup this year. This year will be important.'
