Special 5-star silver commemorative coin produced for Galatasaray
The Mint has produced a commemorative coin made of 925 sterling silver to mark Galatasaray's 2024-2025 season championship. The coin, which holds collector's value and will be limited to a mintage of 5,000, will be offered for sale at 2,250 TL. The coin, which has gone on sale in the first batch, is expected to attract significant interest.

The General Directorate of the Mint and Stamp Printing House of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance is preparing to mint a special collector's coin for Galatasaray's Trendyol Süper Lig 2024-2025 season championship.
The yellow-red team finished the season at the top, winning their 3rd consecutive and 25th championship in total.
TO BE PRODUCED FROM SILVER
The commemorative coin prepared by the Mint was designed by artist Birsen Kendirci. Produced from 925 sterling silver, the coin will be 38.61 mm in diameter and weigh 31.10 grams.
Only 5 thousand pieces will be minted, and the coin will be offered to collectors at a sale price of 2,250 TL.
WHAT IS IN THE DESIGN?
While one side of the commemorative coin features a roaring lion figure surrounded by the word Galatasaray, the 5-star Galatasaray logo is used on the other side.
The design makes reference to the club's 25th championship, the year 2025, and the 5th star theme.
Mint Department Head Şenol Yıldız stated in his remarks on the subject, “Galatasaray won its 25th championship and received its 5th star. At the same time, we are in the year 2025. It was a championship won by lining up all the 5s. We produced a beautiful commemorative coin for Galatasaray with a nice design, taking into account the 5 stars, 2025, and the 25th championship.”
COMPLETED IN 15 DAYS
Yıldız stated that the production was completed in a short period of 15 days, saying, "Usually, such processes take at least 3 months. However, we completed the design, minting, and packaging in 15 days."
In the first phase, nearly 2 thousand coins will be offered for sale; 30 percent of these will be sold in the electronic store, and the rest will be sold in the physical store in Beşiktaş.
ALL WILL BE ON THE MARKET WITHIN 2 YEARS
Stating that the commemorative coin will be minted in a total of 5 thousand pieces and that this number will be released to the market within 2 years, Yıldız said, "This number is also included on the certificate. It is expected to attract great interest because it has high collector value and is produced in limited numbers."
Yıldız emphasized that the collector's coin stands out both with its production from silver and its artistic design:
