Ghana has been eliminated from the Africa Cup of Nations after a 2-2 draw against Mozambique in Group B. Following the match, which included Fenerbahçe's Alexander Djiku and Beşiktaş's Daniel Amartey in the Ghana squad, both players are expected to return to Turkey and rejoin their teams shortly.

Despite leading 2-0 until the 90th minute of the match played at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Ghana conceded two goals in stoppage time to finish with a 2-2 draw and exit the tournament. Jordan Ayew scored Ghana's goals from penalties in the 15th and 70th minutes, while Mozambique's goals were scored by Geny Catamo from a penalty in the 90+1st minute and Reinildo Mandava in the 90+4th minute.

Both Ghana and Mozambique finished the group with 2 points and were eliminated from the tournament. Cape Verde finished as the leader of Group B, while Egypt advanced to the next round as the runner-up.

Alexander Djiku played the full 90 minutes for Ghana, while Daniel Amartey entered the game in the 72nd minute. Djiku and Amartey are expected to return to Turkey in the near future.
