GS Store unveils its 2024 collection! Stars hit the runway...

The 2024 collection of GS Store, which sells licensed products of Galatasaray Club, has been unveiled. GS Store introduced the products prepared for this year with an event held at the Galataport Terminal.

The event was attended by the yellow-red club's president Dursun Özbek, board members, football A-team head coach Okan Buruk, players, technical staff and athletes from various branches, and guests.

Speaking at the organization, President Dursun Özbek touched upon the success they have achieved in retail and stated the following:

"Our club continues to compete in all areas under limited conditions due to the agreement with the Banks Association of Turkey and the ongoing debt restructuring associated with it. For this reason, the revenues we generate on behalf of our club are of great importance to us. From this perspective, GS Store and its parent company, Galatasaray Mağazacılık ve Perakende AŞ, are making us proud with their recent performance. We have reached the highest turnover figures of all time at GS Store. We achieved 33.7 million euros in sales during the June-December 2023 period. This figure represents a 119 percent growth in euro terms compared to last year. In addition to this increase, we achieved a 103 percent growth in the number of products sold compared to the previous year. I would like to thank all my colleagues who contributed to this success. I also thank our great Galatasaray fans who are always by our side. I sincerely believe that as our club achieves greater success in the coming period, store sales records will also be broken."

Galatasaray Mağazacılık AŞ Board Member Hakan Kemal Sarıöz stated that they carry a very important mission, saying, "In addition to the revenue we provide to the club as a retail operation, we transform the values, culture, unique history, unreachable sporting achievements, legends, and memories of Galatasaray dating back to 1481 into products and bring them to our fans. We act with the awareness of this responsibility."

Sarıöz expressed that they have broken records in turnover and growth in the last 6-month period, adding, "In the June-December 2023 period, we achieved the highest turnover and growth rate in Galatasaray's history with sales of over 1 billion liras. We brought exactly 2.5 million products to our fans. The biggest share in this success belongs to our loyal Galatasaray fans who are with us in every condition and at all times. We have sold 400 thousand jerseys since the beginning of the season. We have set our year-end target at 800 thousand. We set a record by selling 65 thousand of the jerseys we designed specifically for the 100th anniversary of our Republic in 72 hours. We will replenish the stocks of our 100th-anniversary jersey, which our fans have shown great interest in, during February."

Mauro Icardi, Fernando Muslera, Kaan Ayhan, Kerem Demirbay, Lucas Torreira, and Barış Alper Yılmaz walked the runway during the fashion show where the products were introduced.
