Hakan Çağrı Balta, the son of Hakan Balta who grew up in the Galatasaray youth academy, had not accepted a professional contract offer from the yellow-red team and subsequently reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe.

During the contract process, the player's lawyer had stated, "We requested that he be given playing time in at least 3 matches in order to sign the contract. This was not accepted. Upon this, we decided not to sign the contract. To ensure the player is not negatively affected, he will no longer train at Galatasaray."
