Hakan Safi: We are building one of the best squads in history

The program, organized by the Tekirdağ 59 Fenerbahçe Supporters Association at a restaurant, was attended by congress members and fans from Tekirdağ as well as various provinces in Thrace. Speaking at the well-attended meeting, Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Hakan Safi shared his evaluations regarding the election process and his projects for the club's future. Thanking the fans who did not leave them alone, Safi said, "Valuable people of Tekirdağ and Fenerbahçe fans who came from surrounding provinces, you have made us happy. This unity and solidarity give us great strength for the future of Fenerbahçe."

Emphasizing that transfer efforts are continuing as planned, Safi said that the names fans are eagerly waiting for will be announced shortly. Safi stated, "Our transfer efforts are continuing without slowing down. We are close to announcing the names we expect. We will not let your expectations down. Even though the transfer season has not officially started, this brother of yours has risked everything. What did we say; we are building one of the best squads in history. Our goal is to lead our Fenerbahçe to the championship in our first year," he said.

Emphasizing Fenerbahçe's past power and achievements, Safi stated that the yellow-navy club must return to its former days. Expressing that they are the children of a generation that felt the greatness of Fenerbahçe to their bones, Safi said, "Our Fenerbahçe once had the best squads, the biggest stadiums, and championships. However, our current course in the league is obvious, and our facilities have aged. This picture does not suit us. Fenerbahçe needs to remember and remind everyone of its greatness. It is our duty to ensure our children experience the Fenerbahçe we experienced in our childhood," he said.

Stating that they will form a strong and ambitious team if they take office, Safi said, "I am an ambitious brother of yours. I will not be a president who forms mediocre squads. We will build a very high-quality squad. Our fans want to watch good players. We will offer them that. We will remove every obstacle in our path one by one," he said.

Touching on the board of directors structure, Safi stated that they have formed a strong team that will fight in every field, saying, "We have established such a board of directors that we will put up a fight in every way. We will defend Fenerbahçe's rights on every platform," he said.

Saying that the atmosphere in Kadıköy must return to its former days, Safi said, "Kadıköy must regain its old atmosphere. Fenerbahçe fans have always stood by their team. We will also build a team that our fans will be proud of," he said.

Making evaluations regarding the club's financial structure, Safi stated that there are no limits to their goals, saying, "Limits are constantly being mentioned. Our dreams have no limits. Our rivals might think we are not working on financial issues. However, we are conducting very serious work on this matter. Our board of directors has examined the club's financial structure down to the finest detail. We will create a financially strong and sustainable structure," he said.

Continuing his ambitious statements regarding transfer efforts, Safi stated that they will add important names to the squad, saying, "What did we say; we will sign stars. We will announce the names our fans are waiting for. We will transfer 2 domestic and 3 star foreign players. Our work has reached the final stage. We aim to complete the entire process and share it with the public by Friday," he said.
