Halil Umut Meler to officiate a match in Egypt!

FIFA-licensed referee Halil Umut Meler will officiate the FIFA Intercontinental Cup second-round match between Egypt's Al Ahly and the United Arab Emirates' Al Ain, to be played on Tuesday, October 29.

According to information on the Turkish Football Federation's website, İbrahim Çağlar Uyarcan and Murat Tuğberk Curbay will assist Halil Umut Meler in the match, which will kick off at 20:00 at the stadium bearing the same name as the Egyptian capital, Cairo. The fourth official for the match will be Zorbay Küçük.

Aleandro Di Paolo from the Italian Football Federation will serve as the VAR, and Marco Di Bello will serve as the AVAR for the match.
