Aziz Yıldırım, one of the unforgettable presidents of Fenerbahçe, made important assessments regarding both the club's election process and its future at the “Vision 2035” meeting. Addressing the members, Yıldırım criticized the current administration with harsh words while also disclosing the club's debt situation.
Emphasizing the importance of youth at the meeting, Yıldırım stated that the vision of young people is needed for the future of Fenerbahçe. “Ali Koç stepped down from the presidency this evening. What will you do? This hall will provide the answer. We will speak clearly. We are here! Everything exists at Fenerbahçe. The only thing missing is wisdom. And wisdom is found in the youth,” he said, noting that young people should have more say in the club's management.

Recalling the process of his first arrival to the presidency, Yıldırım explained that his name was not very well known in 1998, but he served for 20 years with the support of the fans.
“The year is 98, Aziz Yıldırım is President. Who knew him? I came, I became a candidate, I was elected. I served for 20 years. The stands were chanting for Ali Şen. For 20 years, no one chanted. Why? People saw, they supported. Now, someone like that will emerge from among you and say 'I am here',” he said, setting an example for the congress members.

In his assessments regarding the election process, Yıldırım stated that success would come in time, saying, “Success may not come immediately. But perhaps hopes will bloom later. They don't even state the debt here, I am saying 25 billion in debt!”
