Fikret Orman responded to the statements made about him by Çebi in an interview today. Orman reminded that during Çebi's tenure, Beşiktaş reached an agreement with the Banks Association to restructure its debts. In his general assembly speech, Çebi stated that debts had decreased during his term and alleged that Orman had slandered him. Reacting to this statement, Orman claimed that Çebi provided false information regarding the reduction of Beşiktaş's debts. Orman also revealed that Çebi had a fabricated transparency report prepared during his tenure.

Ahmet Nur Çebi reacted to the statements Fikret Orman made about him in the past. Stating that Orman used false and derogatory expressions about him, Çebi emphasized that he would make harsher statements in the future.

Giving an interview to the RadyoGol YouTube channel, Orman also criticized Çebi's claims about debt reduction. Çebi had alleged that both Orman and former president Hasan Arat lied about the debts. Claiming that the debts did not decrease during Çebi's term, Orman argued that Çebi was lying.

Former Beşiktaş President Ahmet Nur Çebi

Noting that the debts decreased during his time as Beşiktaş president, Çebi stated the following:

'Fikret Orman keeps breaking my silence! I haven't committed character assassination for a year and a half; I haven't spoken outside of the general assembly and the council. He should know that I will get even tougher; I will respond in kind every time he speaks.'

Accusing Çebi of harming Beşiktaş, Orman used the following expressions:

'Ahmet Nur Çebi is not a man to be taken seriously. Ahmet's greatest trait is that he is always in a pitiful state. Ahmet Nur Çebi was like a lamb in front of me; he started to get arrogant once he got power in his hands. He didn't set a trap for me; he acted as the hitman for the trap. Who made the fabricated KPMG (the firm that prepared the transparency report) report? Ahmet did.'

Criticizing Çebi's transfer policies as well, Orman added the following:

'You bought trash, injured players. You disgraced Beşiktaş. Now you are trying to turn Hasan Arat's failure into your own success. Get off Beşiktaş's back; go to whichever team you support.'
