Has Zehra Güneş reached an agreement with Fenerbahçe Opet?

It has been alleged that Vakıfbank Sports Club and A National Women's Volleyball Team player Zehra Güneş will wear the Fenerbahçe Opet jersey next season.

WHO IS ZEHRA GÜNEŞ?

Born on July 7, 1999, in the Kartal district of Istanbul, Zehra Güneş began playing volleyball at the age of 12 at VakıfBank. She won the Turkish championship in both the star and youth categories for two consecutive years. At the age of 15, she played for one season on loan at 2nd League team Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor. That same season, she won the Turkish Championship with both the PAF team and the youth team. In the 2015-2016 season, she played for VakıfBank's second team, which was promoted from the 3rd League to the 2nd League as champions. Loaned to Beşiktaş in the 2016-2017 season, Zehra became the Turkish Champion again with the VakıfBank Youth Team at the end of the season. Playing for the VakıfBank A Team since the 2017-2018 season, Zehra Güneş has won 3 FIVB Club World Championships, 3 CEV Champions League titles, 3 Turkish League titles, 3 Turkish Cups, and 2 Champions Cups with the yellow-and-black team.

Zehra Güneş has experienced a fourth-place finish in the world, as well as Balkan and EYOF championships with the Star National Team; a third-place finish in Europe and a fourth-place finish in the world with the Youth National Team; and a world championship with the U23 National Team. The middle blocker, born in 1999, won silver medals with the A National Team at the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League and the 2019 European Women's Volleyball Championship. Zehra Güneş was part of the "Sultans of the Net" squad that qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics by finishing first in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Qualifiers and competed in the Olympic Games. While the Turkish A Women's National Team won gold medals at the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League and the 2023 European Women's Volleyball Championship, Zehra Güneş was named the best middle blocker in both tournaments.
