Hasan Arat and Ekrem İmamoğlu hold a meeting

Beşiktaş President Hasan Arat visited Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu at his office.

The visit was also attended by Vice President Mete Vardar, Football Branch Manager and Press Spokesperson for Football Feyyaz Uçar, Board Member in charge of International Relations and Kartal Yuvası Yalçın Ayaydın, Legal Board Chair Altın Mimir, Board Members in charge of Intra-Club Relations Ekrem Keçoğlu and Kadir Kılıç, Board Member in charge of Facilities Çağlayan Tuğal, and KİPTAŞ General Manager and Congress Member Ali Kurt.

In his speech during the visit, Hasan Arat said:

"My colleagues and I wanted to pay a courtesy visit due to your re-election. I wish it to be auspicious for our country and our city. I believe the importance you place on sports is a great opportunity. As Beşiktaş JK, we will stand by you with all our facilities for the 2027 European Games. We will be happy to walk this path together in the work we plan to do in the future, focusing on athlete development and new facilities."

Expressing his pleasure at Hasan Arat's visit, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor İmamoğlu continued his remarks as follows:

"We are very excited; we have a lot of work to do. We have started again with the motto that the election ends and service begins. I am very happy for Istanbul. Sports is an important concept that contributes to the brand value of cities. During our five-year term, we aim to successfully host the 2027 European Games and receive the good news of the 2036 Istanbul Olympics. Beşiktaş is an important brand of Istanbul. We are, of course, ready to support projects that will contribute to the club's future. We hope that the projects we will carry out together in this period will leave a mark on history."

At the end of the visit, Hasan Arat presented İmamoğlu with the classic jersey of the first football team worn by our players who were martyred in the Gallipoli Campaign, as well as a photograph of the stadium that was under construction in the 1940s.
