Hasan Arat announces Beşiktaş's goal for this season

Beşiktaş President Hasan Arat made statements regarding the current agenda. Arat provided information on many topics, from the team's goals for this season to the search for a head coach and a sporting director.

In his statement, Hasan Arat said, "There are very important names who want to come in the summer. There are many domestic names. We are doing the work, and then it will be time for evaluation and decision. The goal right now is the Turkish Cup. Therefore, do not expect a name from us. We will have contact with everyone. There are people we will talk to from Turkey. Everyone wants to come to Beşiktaş. Beşiktaş is a team worthy of this. We had a very bad season, but that is not a problem. We will learn lessons from this season. We are talking to 7-8 sporting directors. Devin Özek is one of them."

STATEMENT ON MUSRATİ

Regarding Musrati, who received a red card in the Fenerbahçe derby, Hasan Arat said, "I am extremely sad. I called him after the match. He was crying. This is the first time something like this has happened in my life. His teammates also comforted him. If you notice, the moment he stepped on his foot, his head was not looking there, he was looking the other way. They did the same to our friend, and no card was issued. I have no objection to the card, but such things happen in sports. It is very sad that Musrati experienced this bad luck in both derbies. I am also truly very sad. Both he and his teammates are sad. He is such a valuable player that he started with bad luck. With the Turkish Cup, all our athletes will make amends to our fans. Our fans are very sad, their patience has reached a certain point. In response to a question about Salih Özcan, Arat replied, "Many athletes on your agenda are also on our agenda. It would not be right for us to give names. "No, I attended the meetings at the Union of Clubs. We expressed our views within all our clubs. I think there may be developments regarding the congress date in the coming days. Each club sends its own signature separately. Therefore, I do not know which clubs have signed. Beşiktaş's stance is quite clear. We believe that there should be a democratic election with many candidates. We also believe that the boards should come through elections. We think that this debate is now harming Turkish football. When the time comes, an election is the most correct decision. The date for this will also be announced soon with legal justifications."
