The 1st Ordinary Meeting of the Beşiktaş Council for 2024 was held at the Istanbul Hilton Hotel. The meeting concluded with the closing speech of President Hasan Arat, following the announcement of the council board's activities, the presentation of the audit committee report, the explanation of the board of directors' work, the discussion of the reports, and the expression of written and oral opinions by council members.
Responding to the written and oral opinions of the council members, Beşiktaş President Hasan Arat said, "Today's council meeting has been tremendous. May God grant us even better ones. However, they are trying to wear us down immediately after what we have said. I think you are aware of this as well. You see the attitudes and behaviors. But things don't work that way. This is Beşiktaş. As Beşiktaş fans, we need to stand shoulder to shoulder. We are at a time when Beşiktaş needs to be tightly knit. May our path be clear and our luck be abundant."

Stating that he called and congratulated national volleyball player Eda Erdem Dündar, whose statue was erected in front of the Fenerbahçe Ülker Stadium, President Arat said, "I called Eda Erdem yesterday and congratulated her. She is an athlete who grew up at Beşiktaş and is the pride of Turkey. Beşiktaş is a pioneering club in Turkish sports regarding these matters."
Responding to criticisms regarding the black-and-white club's website, President Hasan Arat stated, "Our friends are continuing their work. We will present a beautiful, valuable website for your service. We will bring it to you in a way that befits Beşiktaş."

Emphasizing that work regarding the naming rights of Tüpraş Stadium is ongoing, Arat said, "We will now welcome our guests using the entrance door of the Beşiktaş Museum. That area has been arranged and it turned out very beautiful. The previous entrance was through the parking lot, which created an unsightly image. Let me announce that from now on, we will use the historical gate. We will complete our work regarding the naming rights of our stadium very soon and present our proposal to you."

Addressing the fans of Beşiktaş and its eternal rivals, President Hasan Arat concluded his words by saying, "Relationships with eternal friends and arch-rivals must be within the framework of respect. Trophies are won through competition. I think everyone has enough trophies in their museum. Beşiktaş is a 121-year-old community. The incident we experienced last week is a sad one. When we spoke about the known issue, it was stated that it was a situation caused by a 23-year-old employee. You must speak when you are alone just as you speak in a crowd. Beşiktaş does not get on anyone's boat. Everyone knows very well who gets on which swing in Turkey. I am addressing both Beşiktaş fans and our rivals. Do not offend the elders of our communities.
