Hasan Çetinkaya analyzes Fenerbahçe's opponent Union SG: 'They officially wiped Frankfurt off the pitch'

Hasan Çetinkaya, Vice President of the Belgian club Westerlo, described Union Saint-Gilloise, Fenerbahçe's opponent in the UEFA Europa Conference League, as the strongest team among the potential rivals.

Çetinkaya, who previously served as the administrative manager for the yellow-navy team, evaluated Union SG—a team they know well from competing in the Belgian First Division (Pro League)—in an interview with an AA reporter.

Çetinkaya stated that Union SG has left its mark on the last three seasons of the Pro League since their promotion in 2021, saying:

Expressing that Fenerbahçe must be careful against Union SG, Hasan Çetinkaya said, "They are a dangerous team. They have important players to watch out for.
