Süper Lig goalkeeper Erce Kardeşler made statements after Hatayspor left their away match against Gaziantep FK with 1 point in the 35th week.

WE WERE LEFT WITHOUT SUPPORT

Stating that they have been left very much alone since the beginning of the season, Erce Kardeşler said, "We have been left all alone since the start of the season. We didn't have a pitch. We didn't have facilities. We didn't have money. This is the first time I have seen a club left so unsupported. Can you imagine a football team preparing for matches by doing basketball drills? Is such a thing possible?"

WE'VE BEEN EATING CHEESE AND BREAD FOR 5 MONTHS

Expressing that he is on the team for the people of Hatay, Erce Kardeşler said, "We have been eating cheese and bread for 5 months. We eat cheese and bread, and after training, we go home without even taking a shower. I'm not even mentioning the 1.5-hour commute. I am very sad. My only wish is for Hatayspor to stay in the league. I am here for the people of Hatay."

Drawing attention to Volkan Demirel's departure, Erce Kardeşler added, "Coach Volkan was also left alone. He couldn't just be a coach. He tried to do everything except coaching because he had to. If we have made it this far, it is thanks to Coach Volkan."
