MHP Deputy Chairman İsmail Özdemir announced that MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli would support the Karagümrük Sports Club's stadium project.

Özdemir, quoting the Karagümrük fans' X account, stated the following:

“Our leader, who gives a distinguished place to the logo and plaque of the Karagümrük Sports Club in his office, is ready to provide all kinds of support to the stadium project, which is the rightful demand and expectation of the Karagümrük Sports Club.”

HE HAD RESIGNED

Following the resignation calls directed at the government by the black-and-white fans before the Beşiktaş JK-Fraport TAV Antalyaspor match played on February 26, Bahçeli had resigned from his Beşiktaş membership. In the first TBMM Group Meeting after his resignation, Bahçeli had said, "From now on, I am a Karagümrük supporter. I will continue my life as a person who has given his heart to Karagümrük Spor.”
