Explosive remarks from Hidayet Türkoğlu to TRT: 'Incompetent people...'

While the national excitement continues, our national team coach Ergin Ataman criticized the move of the 12 Giant Men's match from TRT Spor to TRT Yıldız after the Portugal game and said the following:

TBF President Hidayet Türkoğlu also criticized TRT in a statement to NTV in a way that supported Ataman and made an unexpected outburst.
Türkoğlu said the following:
"We have never asked for special treatment. The important thing is to create an environment where everyone from the east to the west of our country can watch comfortably and take pride in these athletes. That was our only demand. But unfortunately, we are experiencing this trouble because incompetent people who do not know this job are sitting at the head of those institutions. People need to know one thing: What has always brought our country together under one roof has been national team sports. It does not matter which branch it is."
