Beşiktaş's former 2nd President Serdal Adalı is preparing to run as a candidate in the December 3 election, while current president Ahmet Nur Çebi has stated that he will not be a candidate.

Following the resignation of Şenol Güneş and subsequently Burak Yılmaz, who was appointed as the team's technical supervisor, it was thought that potential candidate Sergen Yalçın would be brought in to lead the team on December 3; however, it has now been determined who will lead the team until that date.

According to information provided by Bein Sports reporter Gürler Akgün, the club held a phone conversation with one of its legendary figures, Rıza Çalımbay, to sign a contract until the general assembly.

Furthermore, Sports Digitale Editor-in-Chief Yağız Sabuncuoğlu stated on his X account that Rıza Çalımbay is the new manager of Beşiktaş and that he has met with the team at the Ümraniye Nevzat Demir Facilities.

Çalımbay, who is said to be officially starting his duty as the new manager of Beşiktaş, will be in charge of the team for the Rams Başakşehir, Yılport Samsunspor, Club Brugge, and MKE Ankaragücü matches.

The 60-year-old experienced manager previously appeared in a total of 31 matches with Beşiktaş in 2005.
