Hull City signs new two-year contract with Sergej Jakirovic

Hull City, chaired by Acun Ilıcalı, has decided to continue with manager Sergej Jakirovic. The English club announced that a new two-year contract has been signed with Jakirovic.

In Hull City, which started the season with victories against Manchester United and Coventry City, the management has demonstrated its confidence in the technical staff with this new contract.

Club Chairman Acun Ilıcalı stated that they have built a special relationship with Jakirovic since day one and that everyone at the club believes in the quality of the experienced manager.

“He is the perfect coach for our vision, and we had some incredible moments at Wembley during our time together last season. I thank him for that. We are very happy that Sergej is happy here. This is a special day for us, and we look forward to continuing our journey together in the Premier League.”

Sergej Jakirovic also emphasized that the support he received from the club and the fans was important to him. Stating that he sees Hull as his “home,” Jakirovic noted that reaching the Premier League meant the realization of a dream.

Jakirovic stated that the team has shown in the first matches of the season that it can compete at this level, adding that they will continue to work for performances that will make the fans proud.
