Trabzonspor Club Health Committee Chairman Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Beşir announced that Hüseyin Türkmen, who suffered an injury to his Achilles tendon, has undergone surgery.
In a written statement, Beşir said, "Our player Hüseyin Türkmen, who suffered an injury to his left Achilles tendon, underwent a successful operation at our sponsor Acıbadem Maslak Hospital by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Erdil, accompanied by our club doctor Halil Polat. Our player's general condition is good following the operation, and it is planned for him to begin the rehabilitation process as soon as possible."
The defender, who was injured in the 23rd minute of yesterday's match against Çaykur Rizespor, had been substituted.
