Hüseyin Yücel becomes the new president of Beşiktaş
Hüseyin Yücel has become the new president of Beşiktaş. Following the resignation of Hasan Arat, the Beşiktaş board of directors has decided to continue its duties in full under the leadership of Hüseyin Yücel.

Statement from Beşiktaş following the resignation of Hasan Arat:
"Dear Beşiktaş fans, the Beşiktaş JK Board of Directors met on November 29, 2024, and has taken the following decisions: The resignation of our Board Chairman, Mr. Hasan Arat, has been accepted.
It has been decided that the position of Board Chairman shall be carried out by the Second Chairman of the Board, Mr. Hüseyin Yücel, in accordance with clause (b) of Article 25.4 of our Statutes.
Due to Mr. Chairman Hasan Arat's resignation from his full membership as well, it has been decided that our substitute member, Mr. Kadir Kılıç, shall be appointed as a full member of the Board of Directors in accordance with Article 25.3 of our Statutes.
The Beşiktaş JK Board of Directors will continue its duties in full until the date of the Ordinary Elective General Assembly Meeting. We respectfully submit this to the public's information."
