Icardi shock for Galatasaray! He will be away from the pitch for a while

A statement has been released by the club regarding the health status of Galatasaray's Mauro Icardi. The statement indicated that the player, who was found to have fractures in his facial bones following a blow in the Fenerbahçe match, will be away from the pitch for a while.

Here is Galatasaray's official statement:

"Following the blow received during the Fenerbahçe match in the 18th week of the Süper Lig, our player Mauro Icardi was diagnosed with fractures in his facial bones. As a result of ophthalmology, ear, nose, and throat, and plastic surgery consultations, it has been decided that he will not play for a while. After an evaluation to be made 20 days after the trauma, our player will be able to play with the help of a mask if deemed necessary."

Following this statement, it was noted that Icardi will be away from the team for a while and that evaluations regarding when he will return to the pitch will be made after the 20th day.

Galatasaray will host Konyaspor in the 19th week of the Süper Lig. Before the match, the team continues its training under the management of head coach Okan Buruk.
