İlhan Palut speaks ahead of Fenerbahçe match: I expect a better performance from my team

Konyaspor manager İlhan Palut made assessments ahead of the match they will play away against Fenerbahçe in the 2nd week of the Trendyol Süper Lig.

Responding to questions from members of the press before training at the Murat Kurum Facilities, Palut stated that they wanted to start the league well with the Çaykur Rizespor match, but left the pitch with a defeat due to a penalty goal.

Emphasizing that away matches against Fenerbahçe are always difficult, Palut said, "We will go out there and compete in the best way possible. I expect a better performance from my team week by week."

Stating that the team had difficulty finding its rhythm due to some deficiencies and injuries during the pre-season camp period, Palut said that despite this, the team would reach a better level over time.

Regarding the Fenerbahçe match, Palut said, "The Fenerbahçe match is a tough challenge. We want to put on a good performance, especially in terms of competitiveness, by building on the Çaykur Rizespor match."

Speaking about transfer efforts, Palut also expressed that they want to add a good winger to the squad and that the search in that direction continues.
