IMM Spor Istanbul to organize a tournament in honor of Metin Kurt
IMM Spor Istanbul will organize a tournament on March 15, the birth date of Metin Kurt, one of Turkey's legendary football players.

A tournament will be held in Istanbul on March 15, the birth date of Metin Kurt, the legendary football player of Galatasaray and our National Team, known as 'Çizgi Metin' (Line Metin).
The tournament, organized by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Spor Istanbul, will begin on Saturday, March 15, at 10:00 AM. Youth teams from Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and Beşiktaş will also compete in the tournament.
In addition to Metin Kurt's family members, Mustafa Denizli, Yılmaz Vural, and Professional Footballers Association President Saffet Akyüz will also attend the tournament.
Metin Kurt, who also holds an important place in our sports history with the Sports Labor Union he founded, had his name given to a facility in Yedikule following a decision taken by the IMM Assembly last year.
Kurt passed away on August 24, 2012, at the age of 64.
