Incidents broke out ahead of the Göztepe - Fenerbahçe match to be played this evening in the Süper Lig.
GÖZTEPE FANS HEADED TOWARD THE AWAY STAND
Göztepe fans headed toward the away stand as the buses carrying Fenerbahçe fans arrived at the stadium.
INTERVENTION TOOK PLACE
An intervention began after some Göztepe fans attempted to move in the direction from which the away buses were arriving.
WATER AND TEAR GAS WERE USED
Water and tear gas were deployed against the fans by Riot Control Vehicles (TOMA) operated by the İzmir Police Department's Riot Police Branch.
The incidents were calmed down before they could escalate.
