It was stated that the health status of Chermiti, who was also linked with Galatasaray during the transfer window, was clarified following medical checks after the match played against Hibernian on Sunday.

In the statement made by Rangers, it was noted, "Following checks conducted after Sunday's match against Hibernian, it was determined that Chermiti has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury."
